Now $12.00 PER STRIP = 20 TICKETS (A 25% discount) WHAT: RIDE TICKETS WILL COST 80 CENTS EACH DURING CARNIVAL WEEKEND WITH 9 MAJOR RIDES AND 8 KIDDIE RIDES. EACH BETWEEN 2-4 TICKETS. WHY: BECAUSE A FAMILY OF 4 WHO WANTS TO RIDE most of what is available COULD EASILY SPEND $200. WHEN: Presales will only be sold now thru Thursday, October 20, 2005 ONLY. Tickets will not be discounted at the carnival. HOW: Tickets are available at the front rectory desk or after the masses. Cash or just drop off a check made out to Blessed Sacrament Carnival. 1. Volunteer your time
We can use your help soliciting donations, planning and installing decorations, setting up before the weekend event, preparing food, running the game & raffle booths etc. Whether you can spare the time to ask for donations now or you can help us for a few hours during the weekend itself we would be grateful for any time you can give.
2. Contribute items
We encourage you to request donations from local businesses that you frequent, and to ask your friends and families if they can help us. You can get letters to use when soliciting donations from the rectory office.
3. Raffle Tickets
We mailed raffle tickets to our parish community. We hope you received yours and we sincerely hope that you will purchase the book of tickets. Not only will every dollar go towards our parish programs but you will have a shot at winning $5000 in cash; $2000 in cash; or a 20" television and DirecTV package. Plus for every book of tickets you purchase you receive one ticket free. If you didn't receive tickets in the mail, you can purchase books in the rectory.
4. Program Acknowledgements
You can purchase an acknowledgement ad ranging from $20 for a small ad to $100 for a full-page ad. These ads will appear in our Carnival program and will provide you with a great opportunity to promote your business. Families can also purchase ads to recognize the Carnival and pay special tribute to their loved ones. Ad forms can be picked up at the exits of the church.
5. Cash Donations
These are most certainly welcome and will go towards underwriting our activity booths. If you are interested in making a tax-deductible donation, you can:
a) Bring a check to the rectory. Please indicate that the donation is for the Parish Carnival or
b) Donate via our Paypal account. Please indicate that the donation is for the Parish Carnival.
6. Come to the party and enjoy
We will give updates thru the parish bulletin and our webpages as the weekend draws closer but don't forget that your raffle ticket purchases is one very important way that you can help defray the costs of planning the carnival and make sure that as much money as possible goes directly to help the school and parish. We encourage you to invite your colleague's friends, and families to join us for the weekend. Its fun when you bring a crowd and it's a greater way for prospective families to learn about the school and parish. We will be offering a limited number of discounted ride tickets when the weekend draws nearer. So be on the look out.
