Jim Doogan took a photo of the $5,000 prize winner from the raffle. Her name is Maria Torres. She is pictured in the red dress. She is accompanied by a tired pastor and a jubilant bookkeeper, her sister and her sister's children who sold her the ticket. Some of the kids attend Blessed Sacrament School.

We need your help to make the 2007 Blessed Sacrament Carnival a success!

At the 2006 carnival, the faculty, staff, parents, parishioners and friends enjoyed a fabulous weekend with international cuisine, rides games and wonderful live entertainment. This year, we hope to raise even more money, celebrate an even more sensational party and reach out to even more local businesses and families for assistance with our fundraising efforts.
As a non-profit school and parish, Blessed Sacrament relies upon all of its families to join in the effort to raise money towards the facilities, social services, and education. There are many creative ways that you can participate in and we welcome all suggestions for possible contributions. Here are some ways you can help.
We are excited about the chance to top our fundraising records from previous years and we are looking forward to a terrific weekend with food, games, entertainment and friends. We would be thrilled for you to help us make the 2007 Carnival, Concert & International Cuisine our best yet. Continue to read the bulletin and our webpages for meeting dates and be a part of one or more of the committees.

Friday, Oct. 19 - 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 20 - 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Stage Entertainment starts at 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 21 - Food from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Rides and Games from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Stage Entertainment starts at 12:00 noon.
