BSC opened its doors again to worship inside the church on Sunday, May 23rd. The re-opening took weeks of planning to make sure that safety protocols and enough volunteers were in place to make it a smooth and safe transition.
In his initial greeting, Fr. JT exclaims, “I am so happy to be here! A church is not a church without the people to fill it. This has been a building for the last several months and now we are a church. And our faith is not our faith without the Spirit that leads us. That is why we are here today, to celebrate the Holy Spirit. The gift of the Holy Spirit. It was the Holy Spirit that propelled and pushed the disciples out of hiding, out into the world, and today the Holy Spirit brings us inside, and what a blessing it is.”
BSC will continue to develop its protocols to increase the safety and comfort of all parishioners. Volunteers are crucial in this effort. Please consider volunteering at least once a month at one of our Masses (9am. 11am)
