CONTACT Fr. Leo Prengaman, SJ is a native of Pittsburg, PA, and hence a lifelong Steelers fan. The youngest of nine children, his family moved to California when he was 10. Fr. Leo still regrets this change since he loves snow and cold weather! While studying at Loyola Marymount University he worked as a meter reader, and still distrusts dogs until they prove good-natured! Entering the Society of Jesus at age 24, and ordained at 36, he taught English at Loyola College in Baltimore for many years….
Later he was the chaplain at the large public hospital of Santa Clara County. He is often a chaplain to pilgrimage groups and cruise liners. Fr. Leo considers himself to be supremely blessed in having work that lets him praise God every day!
