We have an abundantly diverse parish here at Blessed Sacrament and we want to create a space to celebrate and lift up parishioners that identify with the Black Diaspora. Whether you are African American, Caribbean, from one of the many countries on the continent of Africa, or another geographical space - if you identify as a Black Catholic - this ministry is for you! We want to kick off this ministry with a potluck on May 4th in the church rectory directly after the 11AM mass. Please sign up to attend and to bring a dish to share, as we spend time getting to know one another AND discussing what this ministry will be. Though this is a Black Ministry, please note that, ALL are welcome in celebrating and supporting this cultural space. Sign ups can be found in the bulletin, on the website, and under the tent after church.
If you are new or maybe you've been around for a while and looking on how to take the next step on your spiritual journey, First Step is for you. Stop by after mass at 11:15am on May 18th grab some snacks and refreshments and meet with Father Paul and some of the staff.
